I just got back from Washington State where I saw my nephew get married. Pete and I were in Spokane for their first snow, which I loved, but Pete being from the East Coast was a bit jaded! It was a beautiful wedding and the families just meshed together, a memory I won't soon forget. Pete and I then went on to Seattle to do a little sightseeing. They call it San Francisco's sister city and I can see why!! All tho, Pikes Peak was cool and watching them catch the fish was fun! But like the las Vegas sign and other things you see on tv first, it's a lot smaller in real life, but still fun!! We also HAD to see the gum wall per Pete. It's a wall where people that have visited from all over have placed their chewing gum, it also comes up as the 2nd most germiest place to visit. Nasty but I guess I can say I have been there?!!! It was a week of family, laughs and a few ewws (gum wall, man peeing on our rent a car) but I tried to stop and enjoy each moment, wondering when our whole family would all be together like that again and appreciating the time Pete and I had together. Life is crazy for us all, work, kids, whatever is going on in your world, one day I am changing my Godson/nephews diapers or hearing him tell me he loves me for the first time (without his mother telling him to tell Aunt Kara you love her) the next he is a grown up adult on the way to starting a family. Please enjoy the moments, they go so fast and are so precious.
