According to a new survey, about a quarter of us have a 45-minute commute to work, each way.

--Let's assume you have 47 weeks of work . . . that's 52 weeks minus three weeks of vacation, and 10 days off for holidays.  That means people with 45-minute commutes each way spend approximately 15 total days commuting every year.

--And those 15 days of commuting match the same 15 days you get for vacation.

--If your commute is longer . . . or you get less vacation time . . . you could even spend MORE time sitting in traffic than you do on vacation.
