Jinnrail, a band that brings together the sometimes -- but not always -- disparate musical traditions of Kentucky, New York, and Southern California, formed in New York City in 2003. At the band's genesis and core were drummer Marc Jordan and vocalist/composer Reade Tilley. The band soon made a move to the more welcoming climes of California, and were joined by Kentucky native Matt Wiley on guitar and bassist Lance Causey. With their line up ready to roll the band soon landed a deal with the label Girlfight, and recording commenced soon after. Their releases included a pair of EPs -- My City and Just 4 Friends -- as well as the full lengths, 2003's I'm Fine and 2008's Million Lifetimes.
