More a punk band with horns that an outright ska revival band, Spitvalves emerged from Orlando, FL, and quickly established a large following. The seven-man band recorded albums for Resurrection A.D. beginning with Fine Print at the Bottom (2001) and toured extensively, performing over a hundred shows a year and taking its show as far as Europe. Despite the band's long road journeys, Spitvalves maintained a devoted following in Central Florida. For instance, the band set an attendance record during a performance at ~Hard Rock Live Orlando, when it exceeded the club's 2,800-person capacity.
