Biography

Singer and pianist Dominic Alldis was born with music coursing through his blood. Both parents were classical musicians. His father John Alldis is well-known as a choir director and orchestra conductor with many classical albums to his credit. Son Dominic is one of those few who have successfully managed to bridge the gap between the two genres, working successfully in both, although jazz and cabaret take up most of his time. Starting to work at his chosen profession in 1985, Alldis has played at major clubs throughout the United Kingdom over the years. He has worked opposite many major pianists and singers including Blossom Dearie, Dave Frishberg, and Bob Dorough.
