The Sons of Funk is the No Limit response to Boyz II Men. Hailing from the Bay Area, the quartet sings raunchy R&B with a gangsta edge, sounding like a hybrid of Boyz II Men, R. Kelly, Dr. Dre and, of course, Master P. The Sons of Funk released their debut album, The Game of Funk, in the spring of 1998.
