Biography
The Greensboro, North Carolina-based alternative rock quartet Athenaeum comprised singer/guitarist Mark Kano, guitarist Gary Brewster, bassist Alex McKinney and drummer Nic Brown. Debuting in 1995 with a self-released eponymous LP, Athenaeum signed to Atlantic to release 1998's Radiance.
